EPCOT

Looking outside the villa at about 7.30, it didn't look the most promising of days, but being hardy Brits, we headed off to EPCOT to spend our first day on a Disney Theme Park this year.

By the time we got there, the mist had cleared, and the temperature was on the way up. No matter how many times you see Space Ship Earth, you cannot fail to be impressed by it....

Emma was very brave today, and came on Test Track with me and Norman ... in fact we went on it twice:-)
She spent some time examining the GM cars inside the ride... she quite liked the Hummer but thought it may bit a bit too high.

Once again the highlight of the trip to EPCOT was the ride on Soarin' ...... if you ever get the chance to go on this ride DO IT.... it is a wonderful ride with stirring music and fantastic views... a real treat..... Maureen loves it



Emma got a hug off Figment... and I got a hug too, but there was unfortunately no one with a camera to capture this momentous event ;-)


For those of you back in the UK.... I thought I would let you see that we also have some bad weather ... I guess the difference is that it only lasted about 30 mins, and was still lovely and warm.



We decided to head off to Disney MGM Studios for the afternoon, and took the courtesy Disney bus (a first for us all)


Within minutes of arriving at MGM, we watched the High School Musical 2 show .... both Emma and I enjoyed it, but she tells me that they were not doing the real steps from the movie


We left the park at about 7pm as the sun started to go down.... we were all pretty tired, and needed a bit of a rest

After spotting an abandoned courtesy wheel chair in the parking lot, Maureen decided to save her tired feet the exertion of walking to the car.....
